Lucien Beach
Conveniently situated between the lovely Lucien Beach and Margate Main Beach, Kridzil is in a prime location. Both beaches share the same piece of land, however, what sets Lucien Beach apart is that it holds the coveted title – “Blue Flag Beach”. Lucien Beach, also called Margate North Beach, is a great place to chill out as it is usually less crowded than Margate Main Beach, but please be warned that there are several steps that one has to walk down to access the beach from the nearest road. These steps could become a problem for people with physical disabilities or the elderly. Lifeguards are on duty throughout the year, and they even offer an environmental education programme during the holiday seasons.
